At ShipHawk, we focus on continuous improvement, where we are constantly seeking feedback from our customers so that we can improve our user experience (UX). Especially important to us is identifying ways to make the users of our software more efficient and effective in their job roles.

Now, in response to user feedback, two related enhancements have been recently introduced to the user interface that make finding orders of interest much more powerful: easy-to-use filters for searching orders, and the ability to save those filters so you can quickly access a view of a specific set of orders again.
For many reasons, you might need to keep track of certain sets of orders, such as: What are all the orders that are being fulfilled that include a certain SKU? Or, what are all the orders that are being delivered using a specific carrier?
With ShipHawk, you can apply fine-tuned filters to the order history to find the exact set of orders of interest. You can filter orders that match all or some characteristics by:

In response to further feedback, with ShipHawk, you can now also search orders and shipments by the last mile tracking number, which is the identifier for this “last mile” delivery by a local consolidator service.
Filters are a powerful way to find specific orders of interest, but it’s sometimes the case that you want to apply the same filter over and over again, on a daily basis. So that you don’t have to manually enter the same filter criteria every time you do a frequently used search, ShipHawk also includes the ability to save the search filters as saved views.
As a user, you can create and manage your own saved views from the order history page in ShipHawk. Saved views let you save an applied filter along with grouping and sorting criteria. Each time you select a saved view, the screen will display the order search results, based on the same criteria, each time. For immediate insight into orders, you can also make a saved view your default view.
Saved views can help you find certain types of orders to fulfill quickly. Saved views make possible faster batch processing, quicker searches, and easier management of exceptions like orders with item fulfillment (IF) records in the packed status or with specific SKUs.
Each user can create and manage their own saved views. Note that saved views are not intended to be directly shared between users. Initially, all users have one filter set up by default when their account is created, which displays all orders in the New status. Additional filters beyond this initial default can be created by each user based on their business needs.
By default, each user can save up to 10 saved views in ShipHawk. However, some users might need more than 10 if they are batch-processing a lot of different types of orders. For users who need more, the limit can be increased.
These two examples are just two of the many enhancements that ShipHawk is making to its user experience based on customer feedback.
